Exploring the History and Legacy of Faith and Service of the Latter-day Saints
Legado de Promisión is an independent project dedicated to collecting, preserving, analyzing, and sharing the history of the members of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. Our focus is on Latin America, with an open perspective toward the global history of Mormonism.
Through research articles, interviews, documents, photographs, and other sources, we are building an archive accessible to all. We gather both the experiences of the first converts and pioneers and the events, figures, and processes that have shaped the development of the Church: from the personal and familial to the local and institutional.
We believe that every story deserves to be known and preserved. We are interested in understanding how the restored faith has evolved across different cultures, countries, and eras, and how local histories intertwine with the broader history of the Church in the world. In this way, we seek to build a bridge between generations and to inspire researchers, members, and anyone who wishes to approach this heritage with seriousness.
Legado de Promisión is not an official page of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. We are an independent initiative, driven by a love of history and respect for those who have contributed to this legacy.
